Custom Woodworking & Laser Engraving

BoomerRang Designs was built on custom orders and continues to grow because of them! "Niche product" is not part of the vocabulary at BoomerRang Designs. I am constantly trying my hand at new crafts, broadening my skills, and searching for new and exciting projects to challenge myself. If I'm not working on something for the business you'll most likely find me working on a DIY project for our home.

How It's Done

I think it's important to share that while the laser is a crucial tool in my business, so much work is still done by hand. The laser provides precision and efficiency but all of my work truly is handmade. Each piece is built with my own hands.

I use a variety of materials when creating pieces. All hardwoods are sourced locally and milled by the biggest supporter of BoomerRang Designs, my husband. Frames for my 3D art are made from salvaged pallet hardwood. It's hard work but I absolutely love breaking down a pallet, running it through the planer and discovering that beautiful cherry, maple, or oak piece that just needed a little TLC to bring it back to life. Many items are made from birch plywood while others are made with a combination of hardwoods and MDF, which is used for painted items. Some pieces are even made from dry erase board!
